Flanders Legacy Gravel
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, it’s time for the very first edition of Flanders Legacy Gravel, the newest event within the Bolero Gravel Series and also the grand finale of this series. What’s more, Flanders Legacy Gravel is an official qualifying race for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships.
The start takes place in vibrant Leuven, just one week after the Gravel World Championships in South Limburg (Netherlands) and a year after the unforgettable 2024 Gravel World Championships held in Leuven itself. With Flanders Legacy Gravel, we continue to build on this city’s rich gravel tradition and create a true legacy for all gravel enthusiasts.
Expect rolling landscapes, challenging climbs, and sections over iconic gravel roads. The perfect setting for a day full of sporting adventure. Flanders Legacy Gravel takes you along the most beautiful gravel sectors in and around Leuven, a region that gained worldwide cycling fame thanks to the 2021 Road World Championships and the 2024 Gravel World Championships.
The official qualifying distance for elite men and women, men aged 19 to 59 and women aged 19 to 49, is 141 km, spread over three laps. For men aged 60 and over and women aged 50 and over, the qualifying distance is set at 92 km, spread over two laps.
